Puro Advisory was started in April 2023 to pay homage to my father, a craftsman, amateur painter and private entrepreneur. He looked for perfection in his work, and always put others before him. Perhaps not the best standpoint for business to flourish, but certainly valuable learning for multi stakeholder projects I thrive for. In my assignments, I always start from the end, from the final goal. What do you want to achieve?
I have been working with data and analytics for two decades. Thousands of meetings and presentations, working in expert networks have learned me a lot. My knowledge is valuable only when I’m able to listen to you, connect with your past experience and in dialogue build our common pathway for the success.
Clifton Strengths 34 profile describes me as a “Strategic Achiever”. Before my current work, I worked six years as Project Director at Sitra, the Finnish Innovation Fund. While facilitating policymakers and companies to initiate systemic change for the European Data Economy model, I came convinced that future is build together. Improvement is build only on diversity in thinking, peer-to-peer talks don’t learn us anything new.
My mission is to facilitate dialogues in data-driven world. Data and data economy are abstract, complex and often neglected domains on business development and strategy work. It does not have to stay so forever, data leaders are moving ahead.
Just now it seems that perseverance pays off and I’m busy with the assignments and work I love. It hasn’t always been so. Therefore I’m happy for my beloved ones, friends, dogs and horses participating in my everyday life. Exercising your brainpower is important, but so is trekking, sailing and gardening. Enjoying good dinners with your friends under the chestnut tree.
Working is good. But in living, I prefer to follow this advice from Anthony Hopkins:
